First thing to do is to try and stay as clam as possible. I know, that's easier said than done. Fear is a normal reaction when you have just experienced a strange and unexplained event. But fear can also cripple a person from making sensible and reasonable decisions. It's important to remain clear headed and open minded while dealing with this experience.
Document the event(s) with as much detailed information as you can. 'Who, What, Where, When and don't forget to include the times, dates, weather, etc. Each person witnessing the event(s) should start keeping a journal record of all the information you can, even if you don't think it's important at the time. Reviewing the journal(s) information later will help to determine if there's any patterns emerging.
After you've done some research and having examined all other possible causes ( bad plumbing, squirrels in the attic, etc. ) and having ruled them out. We suggest you contact NPI for advise or to request a personal interview and an on site investigation.
