Shane Thornton - Co-Founder/Lead Investigator
My name is Shane Thornton and I’m originally from the
Inland Empire in Southern California. I have now found
a new home here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve
always had a strong interest in the unknown and the
paranormal. Being part of NorCal Paranormal
Investigators Inc. is a godsend for me. I have the
opportunity to do two things I love. 1.) Investigate and
explore the unknown and 2.) Have a chance to help
people.
At a very young age I was intrigued with the strange
and unknown. I also started experiencing different
things like dark shadows going down the hallway.
I can’t count how many times I’ve woken up in the
middle of the night feeling a strange presence hovering
over me and then disappearing. I was too young to
understand then, but my desire to learn and know what
was happening lead me to studying paranormal
psychology in college. This also connected me closer
to other family members who I learned were also
sensitive to the paranormal and had the same thirst for
knowledge. In addition to the paranormal I also have a
keen interest in the special effects industry. I found it
valuable when investigating a case to have the
knowledge of how special effects works when
debunking a haunting or certain situations.
I have a passion and compassion for helping and
understanding people. I’m so excited about my
involvement in NorCal Paranormal Investigators Inc.
There’s a big need for a group like ours and I look
forward to assisting you with your special needs.
